If you were true believers why not be happy they are going to Heaven? I don’t cry at funerals because crying is for weak people.

Let other people cry if they want. I am sure the death of a loved one can hurt for a little, but we should be trusting in Jesus then we will be fine. =)

Conflicting emotions. Happy for the departed; hurt by their absence. Crying is not for weak people; I’m sorry that you think that.

Some I am sure if you ask, cry for joy. I know if my ex dies before me, I’m throwing a party. I’m going to say what they said on the wizard of Oz. The bltch is dead, the bltch is dead.

is it weak to feel sad that someone close to you will be gone for the rest of your time on the earth?
you are stronger than I my friend, my true friend of the heavens and the earth. May you never feel such sorrow because such sorrow is to feel the rot of the tree root, the knee to the groin and the salt to the worm.

cause it still hurts a ton, and death is still scary for people, cause deep down we dont know 100 percent what will happen. life’s not easy and god wants us to be happy

because “saved” people are no longer on earth with them, they believe.

Ofcourse we are glad and joyful that a brother or sister has gone home (slept).. Neverthless it is the nature of man to mourn those who have been laid to rest.

    2 Corinthians 5.4
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: NOT for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

    Ecclesiastes 7.2-4
It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

Jesus wept, so he is weak?
When you lose a loved one it hurts our hearts, breaks them. Though we know we will see them again we will miss them. You have not lost one you really love yet, be thankful for this. But it will happen and you will understand why this is? It is the missing them that hurts, not the we know where they are going part.
Ever have a good friend move away, and you may never see them again? One day someone close will die and you will know why this is and understand it deeply like those who go through it.
    bless you.

  18. ? SJC ?

    Because they miss them.

    John 11:33-36
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, 34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

    Surely Jesus wasn’t weak!

Because i still miss not having that person around.
My grandma died a year and a half ago and even though I know she is in Heaven, i still miss not being able to call her on the phone, or have dinner at her house.

I dont like to cry either, ESPECIALLY in public, but i did at her funeral.
