What movie has a beach funeral and a widow outwardly grieving?

A scene in this film (possibly near the beginning?) shows Latino or Hispanic women throwing themselves and crying over their husband/family member’s death, and the narration praises how women in other cultures aren’t afraid to express their grief in situations that it really needs it.

The is on a beach. I believe everyone to be dressed in black. The narrator is perhaps angry that people in America are expected to not cry too loudly at funerals.
