When a priest goes in head first it’s because he was a priest and he brought Jesus to us when he did his Mass. He Presided over the Mass. When a lay person is brought into the church they are brought feet first, because they are the parishioner. they are also buried this way at the cemetery. God bless you.
Remember Once a priest always a priest………………….In life and in death

Wow, I ought to go to more funerals.
I think they are wonderful things.
You can cry all your sorrows and joys out and not be ashamed.
Its show all member what the mass is for and the dead person may be in the body as its the mass for the soul to be brought into everlasting life through the prayers of the mass and of the people who attend. if its God’ will. Its like both both priest and the dead get special attention and doing God will in praying for the dead ones even one one in the Casket.
